Kinematic Base Plate
Kinematic base composed of a top and bottom plate.The top plate secures holders or other equipment while the bottom plate is fixed to an optical breadboard.
◦Accurate positional repeatability is achieved by matching the holes on the upper plate to the three steel balls embedded in the bottom plate.
◦The top plate can be secured with a strong magnet or a knurled set screw depending on the version.
◦The top plate of the REP magnetic type series (25×25 mm, 40×40 mm, 60×60mm) can be quickly removed our swapped out. It has a repeatability value of less than 100μrad.
◦Always secure the bottom plate with screws.
Guide
▶Mirror holders can be directly mounted to flip mounts, FMB-40. These flip mounts move the mirror outside of the optical path. (WEB Reference Catalog Code/W4006)
Attention
▶The magnet type of REP series (25×25 mm, 40×40 mm, 60×60mm) should be loaded on its center axis. Off-axis loads maybe cause the magnetic to detach.
