Cage Tilt Mount
Kinematic mirror mount for vertical light incidence with precise angle adjustment, placed at the rod end of the Cage Systems.
The -M/-PDM at the end of the part number indicates the type of actuator for Tip/Tilt adjustment, where M stands for a built-in micrometer for manual adjustment and PDM stands for a built-in piezo drive motor for automatic, remote adjustment.
(However, both Tip/Tilt can only move within a range of ±3°.)
The actuator type of the Micrometer Head and Piezo Drive Motor can be changed.
The mirror is held in place at three points on the sides, including the mirror retaining mechanism, such that the force can be adjusted with set screws.
The clear aperture of the mirror can be large because the effective diameter is not limited by the retaining ring.
The clear aperture of transmission is also large and can be used to adjust Optical Devices not limited to mirrors.
